Kristina started Tylonproducts in 2004 as a place to post her cartoons and artwork. Tylonproducts is derived from Kristina’s long-used mascot, Tylon (a colorful velociraptor character) which she created when she was merely 7 years old. Throughout the years; Tylon because an identifier for Kristina and her work eventually founding the website Tylonproducts in 2004.
Kristina kept Tylonproducts going even during college as her fun hobby area to post some of her creative ideas and crafts. She majored in Computer Graphics & New Media eventually graduating May 2013 with a Bachelor of Science.
In January 2013 she officially gave Tylonproducts a new look and feel; finally able to offer a product. At first she put crazy stuffed animals online starting with Axolotls. She was shocked at how well all of her inventory sold- every single item she put online related to her stuffed animals sold out. She was receiving incredible feedback from people all over the world giving her an incentive to keep her sewing going- and to offer Tylonproducts unique crafts and good all over the area.
Kristina is also affiliated with a (pending) non-profit; Lotllove which is a organization dedicated to raising awareness about the endangered Axolotl. Meghan, the founder of Lotllove, is one of the many reasons Kristina enjoys axolotls as much as she does. If it wasn’t for Meghan and her passion for these animals, Kristina would never have owned Vicious; her leucistic Axolotl who has been such an inspiration to her and her work.
In August 2013 Desiree “Desi” Rogers joined the Tylonproducts family. Currently the Tylonproducts family consists of Kristina (Founder) and her family, Andre (Business Affiliate & Founder of MidHill IronWorks; a Metal Company affiliated with Tylonproducts) and Bryan (Kristina’s best friend and photographer who helps her with creative insight).
